Last week, reality star Kourtney Kardashian and Blink 182 band member Travis Barker announced they were expecting their first baby together. Kourtney held a sign revealing the news at a Blink 182 concert in Los Angeles. Now, the couple has revealed the sex of their baby in another musical moment.
Kourtney and Travis shared a video announcing the news surrounded by family and friends. Travis, the drummer for Blink 182, sat at a drum set while The Kardashians star sat on his lap. When they were ready to announce the news, the couple kissed while Travis played a drumroll. He crashed a symbol as confetti and streamers erupted to reveal… it’s a boy! The couple appeared elated as they shared the news as their loved ones cheered in excitement.
The couple’s newborn son will be joining a crew of siblings. Kourtney shares three children with her ex Scott Disick: Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8. Travis shares two biological children and a step-daughter with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler: Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, and Atiana, 24.
After announcing her pregnancy, Kourtney has been opening up about her pregnancy. Reflecting on her announcement, she shared on Instagram, “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan.” Travis commented on the post, “God is great 🙏🏼❤️” The couple has been vocal about growing their family before tying the knot in May 2022. In February of that year, the Lemme founder was reportedly trying to conceive with the drummer and had been open to the idea of IVF. The couple eventually documented their IVF journey on The Kardashians but ended up taking a break back in September after facing some challenges.
