Reality star and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner is reportedly trying to conceive baby number two with her partner Travis Scott. A source closed to the couple revealed that “they have been trying for baby number two for the past few months.” The source also pointed out that, “they aren’t engaged at this point, either.”
News that the couple is trying to conceive comes after speculation that the Kylie Cosmetics founder was pregnant. The first notable speculation occurred when Kylie opted not to join her family in taking a shot of tequila during the reunion show of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Fans speculated again after Kylie shared an Instagram Stories video where she wore only a bra, where some believed the reality star looked like someone who is pregnant might appear.
The rumors have been debunked and while the couple is reportedly expecting, we may not know if and when Kylie is pregnant again until she welcomes her second child. Kylie notoriously kept her first pregnancy a secret from the public until revealing the birth of her first child in February 2018. Kylie announced that she welcomed a daughter named Stormi Webster.
The following October after Stormi’s birth, Kylie revealed how she chose her daughter’s unique name. She shared the news with James Charles on his YouTube channel, “I was just looking at nature names, like weather- and earth-inspired. Storm was on there — just Storm. And then I was like, I kinda want ‘-ie’ like me, so then I did Stormie with ‘-ie’. It was always Stormie with an ‘-ie’. I bought custom things for her that said her name, ‘-ie’. I bought her the blocks, ‘-ie.’ I didn’t fully choose her name, I wanted to have a week of just me and her to see if I wanted to change it.”
Kylie ended up making a change at the last minute. “When they called me from the birth certificate office, and I was finalizing the name, they were like ‘how do you wanna spell it?’ And I was like, ‘S-T-O-R-M-I,’ and they were like, ‘you sure?’ and I’m like, ‘yeah, just an i.’ Literally right then and there I just changed it to an ‘i.’ Then I hung up the phone and I was like, ‘damn, guess that’s her name.’”
