The *NSYNC alum and his husband are expecting no one but two children! They’ve also shared the gender: they will be having boy/girl twins! The couple has been on quite the journey to becoming parents. They faced years of surrogacy attempts, failed IVF treatments, and a miscarriage. Michael shared with People, “We went through nine different egg donors, which is rare. We picked a donor for some of them. We got all the way down the path of about to retrieve their eggs. Some just wouldn’t produce enough eggs, some weren’t good genetic matches. If you’re going to be a match, you don’t want to even risk it.” Lance continued by adding, “When we were pregnant last year, our surrogate miscarried while being pregnant with twins.”
The couple revealed that they were trying to conceive twins. Lance shared, “We always knew that if we were going to start the family, we wanted to go for twins just because Michael’s a twin — he’s a boy/girl twin. And he just loved that experience.” The twins are set to arrive in early November. Lance is hoping they will arrive on Halloween because it’s his favorite holiday! To make the announcement, he decided that it was only fitting to do a Halloween announcement. He shared a mock movie trailer on his TikTok channel that had all the elements of a scary movie. It’s definitely a unique and fun way to share the news!
