Reality star Lauren Lane (née Bushnell) has announced the arrival of her second child with her husband, country music star Chris Lane! The couple’s little one arrived on October 16th.
It’s a boy! The couple’s second son arrived “9 days early” and Lauren briefly described the experience sharing, “Still laughing thinking about my water breaking (very aggressive, movie like situation) driving myself to the hospital in Chris’ truck (pantsless btw) because my car was out of gas and Dutton was sleeping. Very chaotic, unplanned and panicked but the minute he came into this world he’s been nothing but peaceful and perfect.” Lauren and Chris chose to name their second son Baker Weston Lane.
Lauren, who appeared on season 20 of The Bachelor, and the “That’s What Mamas Are For” singer welcomed their first child, a son named Dutton Walker Lane, in June 2021. In September, the new mom-of-two expressed her enjoyment for parenthood by sharing a post with her and Dutton alongside the caption, “Without the all of the tears, the exhaustion, physical pain, fear and every other challenge that accompanies parenthood, I would not know this JOY! I love being your momma Dutty.”
Lauren and Chris went public with their relationship in November 2018 after a platonic friendship. The couple dated for less than a year before Chris asked Lauren to marry him in the backyard of his family home in Oregon in June 2019. Just a few months later in October of the same year, the couple was married in a garden ceremony in Nashville.
Congratulations to Lauren and Chris on the arrival of their second child! We wish them all the best as they embrace life as a family of four.
