Lauryn Bosstick is growing her family! The Skinny Confidential founder and her husband Michael Bosstick are adding baby number three to their family. “As we prepare to welcome baby number three, I couldn’t be more thrilled to embrace the adventure of adding another little human into the fold.”
The Dear Media founders revealed their family news in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. Lauryn revealed the moment she learned of her pregnancy recalling, “While listening to Tim Ferriss’ podcast as I was organizing my closet, I randomly took a pregnancy test!” Her immediate move after learning the news was to share it with her children: daughter Zara, 4, and son Townes, 2. Together, the three of them planned something special to share the news with Michael. “We made a plan to do something creative to surprise my husband, Michael. Zaza used her Eloise stationery to draw a little card with Townes and we put the test in there. He was ecstatic. Michael has always loved the idea of a big family.”
The podcaster shared how her children are adapting to their new sibling’s upcoming arrival. “Zaza, with her usual straightforwardness, informed me that if the baby turns out to be a boy, she’d like to ‘return’ him — she’s firmly requesting a girl. Meanwhile Townes, though not fully grasping the situation, has been extra clingy with his mom — which I absolutely adore.” She went on to share how she’s preparing for her third baby. “Our home has always been my sanctuary and I’m cherishing this final stretch of pregnancy. It’s such a joy to nest together as we prepare to transform from a family of four into a family of five.”
Lauryn continued by sharing how The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show hosts are feeling about being parents of three. “”We’re incredibly grateful to be parents and deeply value having a solid family unit. It’s without a doubt the most important thing in my life.” Lauryn and Michael met in sixth grade when they were just 12 years old. They dated until age 15 and got back together in their adulthood at age 23. They went into business together five years later and tied the knot in November 2016.
