Musician Matt Bellamy is a father of three! The Muse frontman and his wife Elle Evans have announced the birth of their second baby together, Matt’s third. “We are so pleased to announce the arrival of our new baby angel.”

Elle announced the news on Instagram with a series of images, most of which were in the hospital following the baby’s birth. Matt and Elle welcomed a baby boy and chose to name him George JulienWade Bellamy. Elle shared that George was born on May 12th. “The most special blessing born on Mother’s Day & what would’ve been my late Mother’s 60th birthday.” The model also revealed the name inspiration for the couple’s baby. “Named after Matt’s Dad George, my Mom Julie, and my cowboy dad Billy Wade Evans.”

In the caption of Elle’s post, the “Won’t Stand Down” singer’s dad expressed his gratitude to share a name with his new grandchild. “I feel very proud that you gave him my name, and those of Elles mum and dad I’m absolutely delighted and love you all loads….” The Legend of the Muse star reflected on the family’s life following George’s arrival. “He arrived healthy, happy, and handsome as ever!!! We are obsessed & basking in newborn heavenly bliss!!! I am recovering well and he has already settled into such a nice routine. So grateful to my wonderfully perfect husband @mattbellamy for being so supportive & by my side every step of the way! It’s an honor to bring another brilliant Bellamy into existence!”

The singer-songwriter and his wife, who tied the knot in August 2019, announced they were growing their family in March. George joins the family with the couple’s first baby together, 3-year-old Lovella Dawn, as well as Matt’s son Bingham, whom he shares with actress Kate Hudson.
