Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor and actor Daryl Sabara have added another bundle of joy to their family! The couple has announced the arrival of their second baby together. And, the little one was born on an important date for the couple.
Meghan and Daryl welcomed a baby boy, whose sex they revealed in April, on July 1st, which was the 7-year anniversary of the couple’s first date. They chose to name their second son Barry Bruce Trainor. The “Dear Future Mama” author reflected on Barry’s birth in her announcement writing, “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us.”
Barry joins the family with the couple’s first child together, a son named Riley who was born in February 2021. The Workin On It podcasters have been together since 2016. They tied the knot a few days before Christmas in December 2018 in the backyard of their Los Angeles home surrounded by family and friends.
The “Mother” singer has been open about wanting to have children, even before meeting her now-husband. In 2019, she shared with US Weekly, “Honestly, I’ve always wanted to be a mom, way too young, even before I met Daryl. But especially when you find your favorite person of all time. I’m like, ‘I want to make more of us.’ So I’m always in and out like, ‘Let’s do it now.’”
