Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has revealed exciting news for her family. The “Made You Look” singer is expecting her second child with her husband, actor Daryl Sabara! “I’m pregnant! We did it!”
Last night, the singer posted a video teasing she had news to share that would be announced this morning on The TODAY Show. The video showed Meghan sharing her news with family and friends, all of whom were excited at hearing the news. This morning, Meghan appeared on TODAY to not only announce her upcoming book “Dear Future Mama,” which comes out on April 25th but also revealed that she is pregnant! TODAY co-host Hoda Kotb opened up the cover of Meghan’s book on-air to show two sonogram pictures of the singer’s little one.
Following the appearance on the morning show, the “Don’t I Make It Look Easy” singer shared the news on her Instagram page and revealed her little one is due to arrive this summer. Meghan and Daryl, most famous for his role in the Spy Kids franchise, welcomed their first child together in February 2021, a son named Riley. When announcing her book, Meghan referenced her first pregnancy in hopes that the book will help mothers who might feel alone. “When I was pregnant, I felt very alone. It was also Covid times so I didn’t have any friends who were pregnant with me, and I just remember being like, I don’t want anyone else to feel like that. So now I can be your future bestie.”
The Workin’ On It podcaster and Daryl began dating in 2016 and tied the knot after two years together in December 2018. For their four year wedding anniversary, Meghan gushed over her husband on Instagram writing, “4 years of marriage to my favorite human ever. I’m forever in that honeymoon phase. Thank you for making me laugh so hard, for always making me feel SO loved and for being the best life partner ever. From saying ‘I love you’ on day 6 of knowing each other, and writing you ‘Marry Me’ after month one… I always knew it was you. AND Thank you for the sweetest boy ever.”
