Musician Michael Bublé announced in February that he and his wife Luisana Lopilato were expecting their fourth child together. The news was revealed in the music video for his song “I’ll Never Not Love You.” Today, the couple announced the arrival of their newborn.
It’s a girl! “From love comes life, light and her… our baby … Thanks God for this infinite blessing, we love you!!” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post. Michael and Luisana chose to name their daughter Cielo Yoli Rose Bublé. Cielo is a Spanish name that means “sky.”
Cielo joins the Bublé family with two brothers and a sister: Noah Louis Eduardo, 8, and Elias Dario Demetrio, 6, and Vida Amber Beatriz, 4. During a recent Instagram Live Q&A session, Luisana revealed that one of her children came up with Cielo’s name, though she did not reveal which child and if they came up with all or some of their little sister’s name.
The “Feeling Good” singer began dating Luisana, an Argentine actress, in 2008 and became engaged just one year later in 2009. The couple tied the knot in 2011 in Buenos Aires. During the Billboard Awards this year, the father-of-four opened up about having a big family. “I think it’s already crazy. I think we’re already living crazy land, so it’s just going to get better. We’re so blessed to have healthy kids and a lot of love on our house. There’s a lot of noise. I would have it no other way. We’re so lucky.”
