Los Angeles Angels player Mike Trout is adding a new member to the family! Mike and his wife Jessica Trout (née Cox) announced they are expecting their second baby together. They’ve also revealed the sex of their upcoming newborn.
In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared a series of images of their family, showing off Jessica’s baby bump. The couple revealed they are expecting a baby boy who is due to arrive this summer. “Baby brother on deck,” the MLB player wrote in the caption.
The center fielder and his wife welcomed their first baby together on July 30, 2020, a son named Beckham Aaron Trout. In the couple’s announcement post, Beckham was featured in two images where he held up a sonogram image of his baby brother and the 3-year-old had a huge smile on his face. Last year, Jessica shared a touching post in collaboration with the brand Tiny Turnip about her life with Beckham writing, “Cherishing precious moments with the Trout Family! ❤️ From Beckham’s day 1 Tiny Turnip days to watching him grow into an adorable and fun-loving little boy, our hearts are filled with joy. Beckham’s love for his momma and cheering on dad at baseball games is priceless. These are memories that will truly last a lifetime.”
Mike and Jessica first started dating in high school in New Jersey after meeting in Spanish class. After graduation maintained a long-distance relationship after the baseball player was signed to the Angels. The couple got engaged in 2016 and tied the knot the following year in December 2017 in Allentown, New Jersey.
