For a brief moment, a Miley Cyrus pregnancy rumor floated online, but the actress/singer was quick to shut the whole thing down before it took off.
Fresh on the heels of Miley and Liam Hemsworth’s wedding, baby buzz didn’t seem far off.
OK! Magazine first reported on the rumored pregnancy, with a source telling the mag: “Miley’s over the moon because she’s carrying Liam’s baby… It’s a girl, which is what [they] hoped for.”
The source added: “He called his brothers and parents. [Miley] got him to Skype call her family, too. Her mum was crying.”
Well, not quite.
Miley was quick to jump on Twitter and explain that she’s not pregnant, while having a little fun with the rumor.
She tweeted: “I’m not ‘egg-xpecting’ but it’s ‘egg-celent’ to hear everyone is so ‘happy for us’… we’re happy for us too! ‘Egg-cited’ for this next chapter in our lives… Now, can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg.”
