Gotham co-stars Morena Baccarin and Benjamin McKenzie have announced the arrival of their second child together!
It’s a boy! The couple shared the same image of their newborn son to their Instagram pages and have revealed his name: Arthur! Arthur is a Welsh name that means “Bear.”
The couple each share different messages as a welcome to their son. Morena wrote, “2021 is looking up. Welcome to the world Arthur. Trust us, you haven’t missed much yet.” In his post, Ben wrote, “Welcome to the world, Arthur. Gotta say, your timing is impeccable.”
Morena announced the news of the couple’s pregnancy in December during her virtual interview with The Talk. Co-host Carrie Ann Inaba mentioned that Morena appeared to be glowing. “You are glowing, by the way, I just want to say you are so glowing and radiant.” Morena thanked Carrie Ann and then stood up to show why she was appearing so glowing. A baby bump!
The O.C. alum and his wife share one first child together, a girl named Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan whom they welcomed in 2016. Morena also shares a child with her ex-husband, Austin Chick, a son named Julius Setta Chick.
Morena and Ben met in 2014 on the set of Ben’s Fox crime drama Gotham. In 2016, the couple got engaged. One year later, they tied the knot at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in New York City.
