YouTube creator Rachel Griffin-Accurso, who goes by Ms. Rachel on her toddler-focused educational videos, has grown her family! The video creator announced that she and her husband Aron Accurso welcomed their second baby, born via surrogate. The couple also shared the name of their newborn.
Rachel and her husband hadn’t previously shared that they were expecting another baby. The YouTuber shared a picture on her Instagram holding her newborn close. The couple, who work together to produce content for Rachel’s YouTube channel, welcomed a daughter and named her Susannah. “We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! We are so in love!”
Rachel reflected on her journey to become a mom again writing, “Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones you know… I’m meant to be your mama.” She went on to reveal that Susannah was born via surrogate. “I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever. We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her.”
Rachel and Aron, who tied the knot in July 2016, share a 7-year-old son named Thomas together. The video creator revealed last September that she experienced a miscarriage before welcoming her first baby. She posted a video on Instagram of herself singing a song with the lyrics “”Rainbow baby, dream come true. Rainbow baby, if you knew. Every prayer we said for you. Rainbow baby dream come true.” She captioned the post, “My rainbow baby is not a baby anymore but he’ll always be my rainbow baby So much love to anyone who understands ❤️.”
Congratulations to Rachel and Aron on the birth of baby Susannah!
