Socialite and businesswoman Nicky Hilton is growing her family! Nicky and her husband, financier James Rothschild, are expecting a third child together in the summer of this year.
Nicky’s rep confirmed the news exclusively with People Magazine. The fashion designer has not yet announced the news on social media. The couple’s third child is expected to arrive in the summer of 2022 but the sex of the baby is still unknown. Nicky and James share two daughters together: Lily Grace Victoria, 5, and Theodora “Teddy” Marilyn, 4.
Back in April 2020 at the start of the pandemic, Nicky opened up about the positives of being home with her children during a Q&A with childrenswear brand Dotty Dungarees. “I strangely liked the not leaving the house for days at a time. There was something so cozy about being locked down with my family. That quality family time was definitely the silver lining of the pandemic.”
Nicky, the great-granddaughter of hotelier Conrad Hilton, met James, a European banking heir, in 2011 at the wedding of Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt in Italy. Three years later in 2014, James asked Nicky to be his wife in the same country they met. He proposed on a boat in the middle of Lake Como. The couple tied the knot on July 10, 2015, in London at the Orangery, which is located within the Kensington Gardens at Kensington Palace. The heiress wore a stunning white Valentino gown with a lace overlay, featuring a high neck, long sleeves and train, and a delicate lace veil.
