Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway has welcomed her first child with her husband Adam Shulman.  Their son, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, was reportedly born two weeks ago on March 24th.

E! News was first to confirm the birth with a source close to the couple reporting, “The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A. … Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents.”

The Les Miserables actress was rather quiet on social media throughout her pregnancy, though she did share one pregnant bikini photo while on vacation after she noticed paparazzi nearby. The actress admitted a bikini picture was “out of character” for her, but that “if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter. :)”

The new parents were married in Big Sur, California in 2012 after dating for nearly four years.  In 2015, Anne shared her thoughts on the impact marriage had on their relationship.  “We both talked about it beforehand, and how it wasn’t going to change anything, but something shifts…I didn’t realize that I was keeping a part of myself protected, and it’s kind of all on the line now. I’m his and he’s mine.”
