Erika Christensen gets to experience Parenthood for real! The actress and her husband, Cole Maness, welcomed their first child on June 21st. Daughter Shane Maness was born at home, weighing 6 lbs., 3 oz.
According to babynames.com, Shane is a gender-neutral name of Irish origin meaning, “God is gracious.”
The actress had been actively sharing photos of her growing bump since announcing her pregnancy in March. On the day of her daughter’s birth, Christensen tweeted, “I’m in labor. Right now.”
Christensen and Maness, a cyclist, married in September. Shane is the first child for both.
