NFL player Patrick Mahomes is growing his family! The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife Brittany announced today that they are expecting their third baby together. “Round three, here we come.”
The couple took to Instagram to share an video from a photoshoot featuring the whole family. The family was dressed in white and beige clothes and showcased a string of sonogram images to share they are expecting a new arrival. Patrick and Brittany share a daughter and a son. Their first baby, daughter Sterling Skye, was born in February 2021. The couple welcomed their son in November 2022 and while the little one is named after his father – Patrick Lavon Mahomes III – he goes by the nickname Bronze.
For Father’s Day last month, the Kansas City Current founder shared a touching post to honor her husband. “Happy Father’s Day to the MVP Dad! What you do day in and day out for this family amazes me everyday🥹 We are so grateful for you and love you to the moon! Bronze and Ster are obsessed with you and well I am too.”
The 3-time Super Bowl champion, who won the ESPY Award for Best Male Athlete last night, began dating Brittany when the two were in high school at Whitehouse High School in Texas. The two got engaged in September 2020 following his Super Bowl ring ceremony. The couple welcomed Sterling a year before tying the knot in March 2022. They were married in a private ceremony in Maui, Hawaii.
