NFL player Patrick Mahomes has revealed exciting family news. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife Brittany are expecting their second child together! “My family is growing and I am so very blessed,” the fitness trainer wrote on Instagram.
The couple, who have been together for 10 years, shared a joint announcement on Instagram to share their news. The post featured an image of the couple with their daughter Sterling Skye, whom they welcomed in February 2021. In the image, Sterling held a letterboard that read, “Big Sister Duties Coming Soon.” Patrick and Brittany did not reveal when their newborn is expecting to arrive.
A few months ago, the couple celebrated daughter Sterling’s birthday, and Brittany took to Instagram to celebrate her first child. “My Ster Girl is ONE! I can’t believe it,” the Kansas City Current co-owner wrote in a video post that featured images of Sterling throughout her first year. “YOU my sweet girl deserve the world!! Your Daddy & I love you more & more every day, we can not wait to see where this life takes you & all the things you will conquer!”
The couple’s baby news comes just a few months after their long-awaited wedding ceremony. The Super Bowl LIV champion proposed to his high school sweetheart in September of 2020. They tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii on March 12th of this year surrounded by family and friends. Brittany recalled her wedding as the “best day EVER.”
