Princess Eugenie is officially a mother of two! The niece of King Charles has announced the birth of her second baby. Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their second child on May 30th.

Eugenie revealed in January that she was growing her family by one more. When announcing the birth of her newborn, Eugenie shared two images: one featuing an up-close shot of her newborn and another that showed her firstborn, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, standing over his sibling’s bassinet. She began her caption writng, “Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy.” The couple chose to name their son Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. Eugenie went on to share where Ernest got his middle names. “He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald.”

Ernest is not the only great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II to have the name of George. Prince William and Princess Kate named their first child George, born on July 22, 2013. Prince George is second in the line of succession to the British throne.

In her post, Eugenie also revealed how August, who was born on February 9, 2021, in is handling having a baby brother. “Augie is loving being a big brother already.” For August’s second birthday this past February, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson gushed about her son writing, “Happy 2nd Birthday to our boy Augie.. you are our worlds greatest joy. Keep dancing and smiling my angel.”

Congratulations to Eugenie and Jack on the arrival of their son Ernest! We wish them lots of love as they settle into life as a family of four.
