Princess Eugenie has announced the arrival of her first child with her husband Jack Brooksbank.

Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, shared a black and white photo that features her and Jack holding the hand of their newborn baby. There are very few details right now, as Eugenie was coy in her post. Her caption featured three blue heart emojis, showing that she has welcomed a baby boy!

The royal palace released a statement with the news: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 8: 55 a.m. at The Portland Hospital. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

Eugenie’s pregnancy was announced in September of last year. She shared a photo to her Instagram page feature her and Jack holding a pair of baby slippers. Buckingham Palace issued a statement with the news. “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
