After many rumors circulating over the past few months, the news is officially confirmed: singer Rihanna is expecting her first child! The Fenty Beauty founder debuted her baby bump in New York City this weekend alongside her boyfriend, rapper A$AP Rocky.
The couple was photographed together in Harlem walking hand in hand. The Diamonds singer wore an oversized pink puffer jacket that was unbuttoned at the bottom to show off her growing bump, which was adorned in a gold cross with colorful jewels. The couple was all smiles!
In November 2020, news that the couple was dating was confirmed. The fashion mogul and rapper had been friends for a number of years before becoming a couple. They initially sparked dating rumors after Rihanna ended her three-year relationship with billionaire Hassan Jameel in January 2020. In July of that year, Rihanna featured A$AP Rocky in her Fenty Skin campaign, and the couple promoted the collaboration in several interviews together.
A$AP Rocky opened up about his relationship with Rihanna in an interview with GQ magazine in May of last year. He called Rihanna “the love of my life” and, when asked about how this relationship compares to previous relationships, he shared, “So much better. So much better when you got ‘the One.’ She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
