Sources have confirmed that Game of Thrones stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington have welcomed their first child together.
The couple was photographed by Page Six running errands in London that showed Rose carrying a newborn in a chest carrier. After the picture circulated, reps for the couple confirmed the news with E! News that Rose and Kit have welcomed a baby boy! The rep shared that the couple is “very, very happy.” The name the couple has chosen for their son has not yet been announced.
Reports of the couple’s pregnancy were revealed in September of last year after Rose posed for U.K.’s Make Magazine. In the photo shoot, the actress was proudly showing off her growing baby bump!
A month after the news was revealed, Rose shared with The New York Post, “I am thrilled to be expecting and I can’t wait to meet the new member of our family!”
Kit and Rose met on the set of Game of Thrones, where they portrayed star-crossed lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte in the series. In 2012, rumors began swirling that they were dating in real life. The couple reported split for a while but began dating again and officially confirmed their relationship in April of 2016. They got engaged in September 2017 and confirmed the news in an old-fashioned manner. Their engagement was announced through a classified advert in The Times. Less than two years later, the couple tied the knot in Scotland.
