Long-time couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are expecting their second child together!  US Weekly broke the news, with a source confiding that the actress unsuccessfully tried to hide her baby bump during a recent photo shoot.

Gosling and Mendes are already parents to a 19-month-old daughter named Esmeralda, but are extremely close lipped about their relationship and have never publicly shared a photo of her.

Mendes did open up to Wendy Williams about their choice of a name, however.  “We love ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame,’ we loved the name, the cartoon and the novel… it just kind of kept coming back to us,” Mendes shared. “It’s actually a very popular Latin name, so it’s easy for my father and certain family members that still don’t speak English to pronounce. That was a good selling point.”

Gosling and Mendes began dating in 2011 after meeting as co-stars on the film, “The Place Beyond the Pines.”  Since becoming a mother, Eva has stepped away from acting. During an interview on the Today Show last October, she told the host, “If I’m even like, ‘Oh, what should I wear? Or, should I do this project? All I have to think about is my daughter and her face, and I know the answer immediately.”

The Notebook actor received great reviews for his most recent film, The Big Short.  He is set to appear in several films in 2016, including a dark comedy entitled The Nice Guys with Russell Crow and the musical comedy La La Land with Emma Stone.
