Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and his wife, Kayla Rae Reid, had a little extra celebrating to do this holiday — with the gender reveal for their second child.
Ryan shared the happy news via Instagram, showing off the moment that they unwrapped a gift and a set of colored balloons emerged, telling them their baby’s gender.
It’s a girl!
Mom and dad looked thrilled with the news, while their first-born looked less-than-excited, as Ryan captioned the pic: “Yes!!!!! It’s a girl! I guess @caidenzanelochte wanted a boy haha #girl #soblessed #cloud9.”
Ryan and Kayla’s new arrival will join big brother Caiden, who is almost two-years-old.
Kayla shared a video of the reveal moment, as well as another image of the two shooting pink confetti in the sky. She explained in the caption: “Thank you all for the congratulations. Still in complete shock. The best Christmas gift. I am beyond excited to be having a girl!! Cannot wait for bows and dresses and bikinis oh myyyy! the first girl Lochte! Merry Christmas Eve.”
