Comedian Sal Vulcano is a dad! The Impractical Jokers star recently revealed that he secretly welcomed a baby with his longtime girlfriend. And that wasn’t the only news he shared as he also revealed that he and his girlfriend are now married.
During an guest appearance on Theo Von’s podcast This Past Weekend, the comedian revealed that he has a 20-month-old daughter but did not share her name. He also revealed that he and his girlfriend, who he has been with before stepping into the spotlight, have tied the knot. Sal addressed his history of keeping his personal life private sharing, “I never really talk about [my relationship] at all, but people know I’ve been with my lady for a very long time.” While he shared that his wife “doesn’t mind” him speaking about her publicly, he felt it was necessary to find a balance in his public and private life.
When speaking about his daughter, the comedian revealed that he is “super protective” of her. Sal also opened up about fatherhood sharing, “there aren’t words to describe [it]. You know what it’s supposed to be… but [I have] feelings I never felt. Imagine having a new feeling after 45 years, it’s a feeling of inexpressible pure happiness and joy.” He opened up about how he has struggled with feelings of sadness in his life. “I had to work at [being happy] or accept this new version of happiness.” Now, with his daughter in his life she makes it “easy to access happiness” nothing that “it’s more than it ever was. It’s limitless. If I hear her voice, if I look at a photo of her right now, something happens to my body… I don’t need to access it.”
