Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson has welcomed her first child with comedian Colin Jost! A rep for the actress confirmed the news exclusively with People.

Previously, the couple did not share the news that they were expecting. There were some reports that Colin had mentioned his wife’s pregnancy during a stand-up performance at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut this past Sunday, though no official announcement was made. Back in July, multiple sources shared that Scarlett was pregnant. At the time, fans wondered if the Oscar-nominated actress was expecting after she skipped out on numerous events for her film Black Widow.

No news has been shared yet as to the name or gender of the couple’s newest arrival. While this bundle of joy is the couple’s first child together, this is baby number two for Scarlett. The Avengers star shares a 7-year-old daughter named Rose Dorothy Dauriac with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

Scarlett and the star of Saturday Night Live are approaching their one-year wedding anniversary. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in October of 2020. The couple was engaged in May 2019 after two years of dating. In October 2019, Scarlett opened up about her engagement with Ellen DeGeneres. She shared that Colin “killed it” with his “surprising” proposal, which included “a whole James Bond situation.”

The Sing 2 actress explained, “He’s very charming and very thoughtful and romantic. But yeah, I was surprised. Even if you kind of imagine what that moment’s gonna be like, it’s still a beautiful moment.”

Congratulations to Scarlett and Colin on the arrival of a baby into the world! We hope they enjoy welcoming their little one into the family.
