Rapper Sean Combs, who currently goes by the stage name Diddy, has announced the arrival of his seventh child. The record producer and executive had not previously revealed he was expecting and did not the identity of the mother.

Sean announced the news in a tweet, revealing that he welcomed a daughter and named her after himself. “I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. God is the Greatest!”

Love is the first child Sean has welcomed in nearly 15 years. He has five biological children: Justin Dior, 28, Christian, 24, Chance, 16, and 15-year-old twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James. The “Gotta Move On” singer also has an adopted son named Quincy Taylor Brown, 31. He adopted Quincy when he was in a relationship his mother Kim Porter, who passed away of pneumonia in 2018. Sean shares three biological children with Kim: his twin daughters and son Christian, who goes by his stage name King. He welcomed his first biological child, Justin, with designer Misa Hilton-Brim. Chance, whom he welcomed with Sarah Chapman, was born a few months before Sean’s twins.

Following the start of the pandemic, Sean opened up about how quarantine helped him slow down and connect with his family. “For me, my life got better because I was running myself into the ground, and I wasn’t taking enough time for my family and for myself. It’s really been a blessing. I lost the mother of my children and the time that [my kids and I] were sequestered together, it helped me to make up for all those years I was on tour and to get closer to my family. For me, it’s been a blessing, but really using the time to become a better father and a better person.”

Congratulations to Sean on growing his family! We wish him all the best welcoming baby Love.
