Former Olympian Shawn Johnson has shared the first images of her new baby! Shawn and her husband Andrew East welcomed their second child earlier this month. The couple’s toy brand Teddy & Bear broke the news, but it wasn’t until today that the couple posted about their child’s arrival on their own social media pages!
Shawn shared three black and white photos to her Instagram page: one of the new parents with their son, one with their daughter – Drew Hazel – with her baby brother, and another of their newborn on a bed, who appeared to be smiling! Shawn captioned her post: “Welcome to the world little man! We love you so much!”
Andrew posted a short video to his Instagram page of the couple in the hospital with their son with the caption: “I have never known a love like this.” The couple also posted a video to their YouTube channel that documented their birth process – from leaving the house to going to the hospital to welcoming their son into the world.
The couple wrote in the description of their video how life is so far with their new bundle of joy. ” We are so in love. Momma and little man are doing really well and are healthy and happy. Drew’s loving her new role as big sister and is loving her cuddle time with her little brother everyday. We’re in heaven and are so thankful you gave us this time to be together as a family.” They have not yet revealed the name they have chosen for their son but they did tease that “more details on the birth to come soon, stay tuned.”
Congratulations again to Shawn and Andrew on the arrival of their son! We can’t wait to learn the name they have chosen for him.
