Earlier this year, singer Jessie J announced that she was pregnant with her rainbow baby. Today, the singer revealed she had welcomed her first child “a week ago” and gave her followers an update on her Instagram Stories.
Jessie revealed in February that she would be welcoming a son this year. Now, her son, whom she shares with baskeball player Chanan Safir Colman, has arrived! “A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size,” the “Price Tag” singer began her text-based Instagram Stories post. She went on to express how she was feeling about becoming a mother to her son. “The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world].”
The singer then gave an update on how she has been doing since the birth of her son. “He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine.” She went on to express gratitude for her fans and followers writing, “I am so grateful phew *happy tears* For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support.”
Jessie did not share an announcement post to her Instagram feed nor did she share any images of her newborn. She has also not yet revealed his name. To end her announcemet, the singer promised, “I will be back on instagram when I’m ready.”
