Earlier this year, singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, announced they were adding another bundle of joy to their family. Today, on the same day Meghan’s book “Dear Future Mama” is released, the couple appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to reveal the sex of their second child!
To reveal their news, the couple enlisted the help of their first child, son Riley, who was born in February 2021. Interestingly enough, Meghan and Dylan also revealed Riley’s sex on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in October 2020. This time around to announce the sex of baby #2, a video of Riley was played where he shouted, “It’s a boy!” and threw his arms into the air in excitement.
The “Mother” singer teased yesterday that she would be revealing her child’s sex today. The post was similar to how she teased her pregnancy news last year, which featured friends and family excitedly cheering about hearing the news, without spoiling the reveal. Earlier this month, the singer opened up with PEOPLE about how excited she was to add another member to her growing family. “I look at my husband and go, ‘We are so lucky.'” As for how she has embraced her role as a mother, the Workin’ On It podcaster shared, “I’m the best version of me. Each kid’s going to bring a new version of me that I think is going to be badass — so I need four, at least!”
The “Made You Look” singer and Spy Kids alum have been together since 2016. The couple married in December 2018, just a few days before Christmas, in the backyard of their home in Los Angeles. They enjoyed an intimate ceremony where the couple exchanged handwritten vows in front of 100 friends and family members.
Congratulations to Meghan and Daryl on the news of their second baby boy! We wish them lots of love as they prepare for their newest family member.
