At the end of last year, singer and reality star Stacey Solomon announced that she and her husband Joe Swash, an actor, were expecting their third child together. The couple has now welcomed their little one and has revealed the name they chose for their newborn. “We are so grateful we get to be your family.”
The Loose Women host shared a touching selection of images to announce her little one’s arrival. The first one showed Stacey, Joe, and their two children placing their hands on the newborn. The couple welcomed a baby girl! “Our beautiful, daughter born at home with all of your brothers and sister ready to snuggle you forever and ever. You literally flew into our world 😂… And none of us can quite believe your thick dark head of hair that we just can’t get over. We can’t believe your here. Welcome to the world beautiful girl, thank you for the last few months in my tummy, we can’t wait to love you forever and ever we are so grateful we get to be your family.”
Stacey waited to reveal the name she chose for her daughter, who is her fifth child and Joe’s fourth. The couple chose to name their daughter Belle, and the name has a dual meaning for them. “Our beautiful, delicate baby girl. Who will forever remind us of the bluebells that are about to bloom as you bring the spring with you into the world,” Stacey wrote in part. The other name connection comes from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, where the name character bears the same moniker. The “Breath Away” singer offset her daughter’s name reveal with two wilting roses, a nod to the plot of the film. In a roundabout way, the name and the reference have a connection to the couple’s other daughter: Rose. “And a little special connection to your Rose.”
In addition to Rose and Belle, Stacey and Joe share a son named Rex. The couple each has children from previous relationships. Stacey shares two sons – Zackery and Leighton – with former partners and Joe shares a son named Harry with an ex.
