Supermodel Martha Hunt has announced the arrival of her first child! The Victoria’s Secret model shared a black and white photo of herself holding her newborn baby in the hospital, her face beaming at her little one. The image appears to have been taken just moments after she gave birth.
“On the morning of November 6th, we welcomed our daughter Emery into the world,” she wrote in her caption. Martha and her fiancé, photographer Jason Mcdonald are the proud parents of a baby girl! They chose to name her Emery, an English name that means “Work Ruler.” Jason, who posts very infrequently on social media, did not share a post announcing the arrival of his daughter.
Martha revealed in June that she was expecting. She shared a stunning poolside image where she was donned in a black bikini, her growing baby bump in full view. She captioned her announcement post “full heart 🙏 growing belly 🕊🌱”
The model has posted many photos of herself during her pregnancy, including a gorgeous photo of Martha on the beach at sunset. She captioned the photo with a Thich Nhat Hanh quote that may have referenced her relationship with her unborn daughter. “In a deep relationship, there’s no longer a boundary between you and the other person. You are her and she is you.”
Martha hasn’t been too open about her relationship with Jason. It is reported that the couple met at a photo shoot in 2015. The couple announced their engagement in January of 2020. The supermodel shared a series of images with the caption “i have a secret…” In the first image, she is holding her index finger to her lips in a “shhh” pose and a diamond ring is very noticeable. The other two images in the carousel featured Martha and Jason snuggling up together.
