Congratulations to Jared Padalecki and his wife, Genevieve Cortese – they’re expecting their third child!
The Supernatural star made the baby announcement on this morning’s Live! With Kelly. He teased the big news ahead of time, tweeting: “Clear your schedules on Monday, Nov. 7th, I’m going on @LiveKelly !! And I have somethin SUPER cool to share with yall #SPNFamily #akf.”
On air, he revealed, “Father of two, about to be father of three in March,” with Genevieve showing off her baby bump off camera.
Jared also told the story of how they got together, meeting on Supernatural when Genevieve had a recurring role on season 4 in 2008. He explained that their meeting was “really special and unexpected,” adding, “I thought she was cute and smart and she would always read books. It turned into hanging out, talking about traveling, and [then] turned into dinner.”
The couple have two sons, Thomas, 4, and Shepherd, 2.
