To start out 2023, reality star Brody Jenner announced that he would become a father. Brody and his partner, professional surfer Tia Blanco, are expecting their first child. The sex of the couple’s little one was revealed with a rather unusual skit performed in front of their family and friends.

Surrounded by family and friends, the couple was on a rooftop pool and two inflatable babies – one a boy and the other a girl – jumped into view. The two “babies” performed a mock wrestling match, with the winner showcasing the child’s sex. The girl baby won to reveal “IT’S A GIRL.” Tia revealed that she is “so thrilled” and “can’t wait for Brody to become the best girl dad in the world!”

Brody’s mom, Linda Thompson, gushed about the event in the comment section of the post writing, “That Has to be the cutest and most clever… The funniest gender reveal ever! Perfectly executed and I’m so happy you are going to be a girl daddy! You and Tia will have a beautiful little baby girl and be the most wonderful parents! So happy for you sweetheart!!!” The Hills star’s brother Brandon Jenner echoed their mom’s sentiments writing, “So fun!! So happy for you guys.”

Shortly after announcing their news, Tia shared how surfing has helped her relieve some of her pregnancy symptoms. “This first trimester has come with a lot of nausea & fatigue, but for some reason every time I get in the water all of my symptoms subside & I feel instantly rejuvenated 🧜🏽‍♀️. Like always, surfing has been my sweet escape 💧 does that mean baby loves the ocean too?” Brody and Tia were first rumored to be dating in April 2022 but their relationship wasn’t confirmed until June. Brody showcased Tia in his Instagram Stories that month with the couple riding bikes together.

Congratulations to Brody and Tia on the news of their baby girl! We wish them continued blessings as they prepare to become parents.
