The View co-host Sara Haines announced the news that she’s pregnant with her second child on the show today. Congrats to Sarah and her husband, Max Shifrin.
Sara also revealed the baby’s gender. She’s having a little girl!
A “huge surprise announcement changing ‘View’ history” was teased before the show started and, after the hosts sat down, Whoopi Goldberg said someone in the studio was going to announce their pregnancy. Nobody in the audience, however, had baby news to share.
Cut to Sara, who finally spilled the beans! She announced the happy news and asked, “Do you guys want to know what I’m having?” Her co-hosts sprayed her with pink silly string as she revealed, “It’s a girl!”
Sara also said she’s “having a rough time,” and guessed that “anybody who’s been in the studio audience could figure it out.”
Sara and Max have a 15-month-old son named Alec. Sara shared that she’s “so excited” about their newest addition.
