Actress Torrey DeVitto is preparing for a new role: motherhood! The Chicago Med star announced that she and her fiancé Jared LaPine are expecting their first baby together. The couple also revealed their baby’s sex and due date.
In an Instagram announcement, Torrey and Jared stood on a porch, with the actress wearing a fitted white dress. The Love’s Greek to Me star held her baby bump while gazing into her husband’s eyes. She revealed in the caption that the couple is expecting a baby girl due in November. Jared shared his own announcement on the social media platform with images from the same setting and quipped in the caption, “Welp, here’s to hoping she gets her mother’s genes.”
Many of Torrey’s former co-stars took to her Instagram post to share well-wishes for the couple. Torrey’s Pretty Little Liars co-star Ian Harding wrote, “Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Congratulations folks.” One Tree Hill co-star Hilarie Burton gushed, “Babe!!!!! Amazing!!!!! Big hugs your way!!!!!” Mekia Cox, who starred in Chicago Med with Torrey, wrote, “Oh my GYAH!!!! 😍😍😍”
The Hallmark star and her partner announced their engagement last September. Torrey reminisced on the moment sharing with her followers, “Earlier this month at 5 pm on a weekday while walking the back trails at the farm, still in my PJs and goat boots, he got down on one knee, in what I hoped wasn’t poison ivy, and asked for forever. My answer was obvious.” When Jared shared the news, he gushed about his fiancée writing, “On September 1st, I got engaged to my best friend. Now I get to spend every single day as the luckiest man in the world. I love you more than anything and everything.”
