Last November, model Jasmine Tookes announced that she and her husband Juan David Borrero, an executive at Snapchat, were expecting their first child together. The couple has now revealed that they welcomed their little one last month on February 23rd.

To reveal the news, Jasmine shared two images that did not show her little one’s face. The first image showed Jasmine and Juan holding their child’s hand while the second image showed just Jasmine holding her hands, with her stunning wedding rings in view. The couple welcomed a baby girl and chose to name her Mia Victoria. The former Victoria’s Secret model shared her feed post to her Instagram stories and added the text “the prettiest little princess.” She then shared an image of a flower arrangement where she added a message thanking those close to her. “Thank you to all of our friends and family for so much love. We are so in love with her & are so excited for this next chapter in our lives.”

When Jasmine announced she was expecting, she was six months along in her pregnancy. She did an interview with Vogue where she opened up about why she waited to announce her news and her experience with pregnancy. “I couldn’t find the right way that I wanted to do it [announce my pregnancy] — a way that felt true to me. I was so tired to the point I couldn’t even read emails coming through — I’d fall asleep sitting at my computer. I almost fell asleep driving my car. The tiredness was something I had never experienced. Every day is scary — you never know what’s going to happen. So I just pray, hope for the best, and try to keep an open mind.”

The model began dating the son of Ecuadorian vice president Alfredo Borrero in 2016. In 2020, the couple got engaged and tied the knot the following year in Ecuador.

Congratulations to Jasmine and Juan on the arrival fo their daughter! We wish them lots of love in their new role as parents.
