WWE’s Alexa Bliss and her husband, singer Ryan Cabrera, are taking on an exciting new journey in their relationship. They are going to become parents! The couple is expecting their first baby together. “The best moments in life are the completely unexpected.”
To announce the news, Alexa, whose real name is Alexis Cabrera née Kaufman, shared a series of three photos to her Instagram page. The first photo was a flat lay image that featured a onesie, a letterboard, and a sonogram picture. The one read “best oops ever” while the letterboard spelled out, “Baby Cabrera arriving December 2023.” The second image was a punny one that featured both Alexa and Ryan pretending to blow up balloons. Alexa’s pink balloon read “expected to pop” with Ryan’s blue balloon featuring the due date, “December 2023.” The last photo showed the couple kissing while holding wine glasses. Ryan’s glass was full but Alexa’s had a post-it on it that read, “Do not refill until December.”
The first-time dad shared his own post featuring more images of the couple in various pregnancy-type announcements. The “On the Way Down” singer is clearly looking forward to becoming a dad as he captioned his post, “Is there a word that’s even more exciting than excited? Yeah, that’s how I feel sharing tha news!!!!” In an exclusive interview with E! News, Alexa shared the couple found out they were expecting in late March and that “it was a total surprise, as we weren’t trying at all.” Ryan echoed his wife’s sentiments sharing they were “one million percent surprised.”
The pregnancy news comes just over a year after the couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. Alexa and the “True” singer tied the knot on April 9, 2022 after two years of dating. The couple were married surrounded by family and friends at the Kempa Villa in Palm Desert, California. They walked down the aisle to a song Ryan composed called “Worth It.” The song was also playing when Ryan asked Alexa for her hand in marriage at Walt Disney World in November 2020. The proposal was fitting as Alexa prominently shares in her Instagram bio “believes in Disney Magic.”
