Beauty YouTuber Shannon Harris, known by her username shaaanxo, announced in December that she and her husband Hamish Kennard were expecting her first child together! To celebrate almost one-year of marriage, the couple were wed on February 13, 2021, the couple found out the gender of their baby!
“What a way to celebrate almost one year of marriage with my fav human,” the New Zealander began her post before revealing… it’s a boy! “finding out we are welcoming a baby boy to the world 🥰 we are over the mooooon!” Shannon was dressed in all blue for the photo from the gender reveal and the couple was surrounded in balloons of multiple shades of blue. The couple is set to welcome their son in June.
Shannon also shared an Instagram Reel video that began with the beauty YouTube holding a sonogram picture of her little one, the whole video in black and white. She stepped back as the camera zoomed out to stand amongst the balloons. The color slowly came into view to reveal the blue color array. “Feeling like the luckiest person in the world,” she captioned the video.
Hamish shared a series of images from the reveal to his Instagram page as well. He captioned the post, “Excited to announce that we are having a baby boy 💙🥳 What boy names are your favourite?” Shannon sounded off in the comments with “Hamish, Jr?” Hamish is a Scottish name that means “Supplanter” and is a form of the name James.
Congratulations to Shannon and Hamish on the news of their baby boy! We wish them continued blessings as they prepare to welcome their first child into the world.
