Actress Yvonne Strahovski, most noteably known for portraying the role of Serena Joy Waterford on The Handmaid’s Tale series, is growing her family! Yvonne and her husband Tim Loden, a fellow actor, are expecting their third baby together. “Well here we go.”
To announce the news, the actress shared a picture of herself wearing an all-black outfit that hugged her growing bump. Her dog and one of her children made a small appearance, to which Yvonne addressed in her caption writing, “Pizza really wanted to be in the photo. So did Mr tiny feet hiding behind me.” Yvonne and Tim share two sons together. They welcomed their first child, a son named William, in October 2018. Their second son arrived in December 2021, but they couple had not revealed the name of that child.
Fellow celebrities took to the comments to congratulate the Scrambled star on her news. Sex/Life star Sarah Shahi wrote, “Welcome to being outnumbered!!!!!! Ill make room for you in tres club.” Actress Sarah Lancaster, Yvonne’s Chuck co-star, commented, “Oh my gosh I’m so happy for you 5 !!!!” Actress Olivia Munn chimed in, “So happy for you sis.”
In the past, Yvonne has been open about struggling to go back to work after welcoming a baby. In 2019, the actress shared with Glamour UK, “It was like a ticking time bomb, knowing that I was going to go back to work and that I was going to have to part with my baby for the hours that I would be on set filming. In hindsight looking back on it, I think that because I knew I was going back to work, I appreciated every single little moment that I had with him — including the breakdowns in the middle of the night, where I was just so tired that I was crying and nothing else was happening at the moment, except you’re just devastated that you’re tired.”
