Congratulations to Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, who just welcomed their second child, a baby boy.
The couple chose an adorable name, complete with an animal themed middle name!
Their newest addition is named Charlie Wolf, while their first child is named Elsie Otter. Charlie is of English origin, meaning “free man.”
Her rep told People.com: “Zooey, Jacob and their daughter Elsie are overjoyed to welcome the newest member of their family.” Charlie reportedly was born last week.
Zooey and Jacob were married in 2015.
The actress told Redbook in 2016 that she had “slowed things down a bit,” adding, “I’ve never really felt like an adult. But I think it’s a huge accomplishment to have a child so maybe I feel like an adult for that reason!”
