What is a Gunamuna Gunapod?
It’s the only sack that opens up completely from the bottom to allow for easy diaper changes and temperature control. A unique all around 4-way WONDERZiP™ makes diaper changing easy and your baby stays covered.
We love this blanket, which is a duvet version of the original sleep sack! When I first got it in the mail, I was a little bit worried that my 16 month old would be too old for it. I worried that she wouldn’t like being confined to a sleep sack, and that she wouldn’t be able to roll over to and from her stomach and back. She’s a mover when she sleeps. We live in a cold state, and she would not keep her blanket in the crib. Since it’s too cold for her to not be covered in something, I thought this would be worth a shot.
The first night, she was a little confused by it. She kept trying to pull it off. She eventually gave in and left it alone. That night, she slept better than she ever has. She usually wakes up anywhere from 5-10 times a night. She is a horrible sleeper. But she only woke up twice that night. I figured it had to be a coincidence. It’s been two weeks now, and she is consistently waking up only 2-3 times a night. I am convinced it’s because of the Gunapod, and that she must have been getting cold in the middle of the night, and not able to sleep.
The blanket itself is so wonderfully made. It’s extremely soft and squishy. It’s very cozy, and I love holding her when she’s in it. When I take her out of it, she no longer feels freezing in the morning. I also love that it zips across the bottom and the sides. It makes late night diaper changes so much easier. I also love the zipper covers. Instead of having a button or snap covering the zipper, which can be a hassle, it has a soft panel of sorts that’s covers the top of the zipper. It’s very quick to get on!
I would highly recommend the Gunamuna Gunapod. In fact, I have already recommend it to all of my friends with babies. I love it that much! I think this is equally great for small babies as well as older ones.
You can find the Gunamuna Gunapod for $49.99 on Amazon.
