Earlier this week, news broke that Billie Lourd gave birth to her second child with her husband Austen Rydell. The American Horror Story actress’s father Bryan Lourd revealed the news. Now, Billie has shared her own announcement for her newborn and shared all the details.
It’s a girl! Billie posted a close-up image of her daughter’s hands to announce her arrival. “Introducing: Kingston’s sister,” the actress captioned the photo, referencing her first child with Austen, son Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell. The couple chose to name their daughter, who arrived on 12/12/22, Jackson Joanne Lourd Rydell.
Fellow celebrities flooded the comment section of the Scream Queen stars’ post to congratulate her on the couple’s new arrival. Frances Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, commented, “Love her so much already !!! Congrats beautiful mama so so proud of you.” American Horror Story co-star Leslie Grossman gushed, “I love her already.”
Billie revealed her pregnancy in September during the London premiere of the movie Ticket to Paradise. The actress showed off her baby bump wearing a sparkly pink mini-dress. Her pregnancy news came two years after the actress and the producer, who wed in March of this year, welcomed Kingston in September 2020. Unlike her pregnancy with her daughter, Billie chose to keep her pregnancy with her first child a secret until his arrival.
