Television personality and columnist Meghan McCain is a mother of two! Meghan, the daughter of late Senator John McCain, and her husband Ben Domenech welcomed their second child on January 19th.
The news was revealed by DailyMail.com, where Meghan is a regular columnist. The former host of The View shared that she was expecting a girl when she announced her pregnancy in September. The couple, who wed in November 2017, chose to name their newborn Clover Jade McCain Domenech.
When Meghan shared her news with DailyMail, she commented, “Ben and I are overjoyed to introduce Liberty to her baby sister and start this new adventure as a family.” Ben added a touching method to their statement about his wife and family. “Meghan’s strength and love for our daughters is boundless. I feel so blessed that her and Clover are both doing well and I cannot wait for our entire family to meet our baby girl.”
Clover joins the family with an older sister, Meghan and Ben’s first child Liberty Sage, 2. A few days before Clover’s arrival, Meghan shared a picture of Liberty sitting in front of a baby lounger with one of her baby dolls strapped into it. “A few more days until we have two little ladies living in the house….trying to prepare her!” Meghan wrote in the caption. The columnist reflected on motherhood in an Instagram post last month where she admitted, “I am still more a ‘mother of dragons’ than ‘instagram mom’ but all the wonderful cliches about having children really are true… and I can’t believe we are about to add another little lady to the house!”
