Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hunter McGrady is a mother of two! Hunter has announced that her second child with her husband Brian Keys arrived on March 9th. Hunter revealed in September that she was growing her family. “I am so proud to be your mama.”
Hunter and Brian welcomed a baby girl and they chose to name their daughter Ava Bryn Keys. While the model didn’t elaborate on why she chose the name Ava, she did reveal the meaning behind the name Bryn. “Bryn is her middle name just like her grandma/ my mom (Brynja) who is someone i have always wanted to emulate, I am forever in awe of her and oh how i know she is going to be just as much of a force of nature.”
The Model Citizen Podcast co-host gushed about her first daughter in her post. “My baby girl came into this world fiercely and commanding attention, as I pray you will forever do. I pray that every room you enter you take up space, you live fearlessly, and always honor yourself. We are so blessed to have you here with us my beautiful, beautiful girl. I could stare at you forever and it still wouldn’t be long enough. We are just basking in your presence Angel girl!” Ava joins the family with an older brother, the couple’s first child Hudson Tynan. Hudson, who was born in June 2021, also shares a name with a family member. He was named for Hunter’s brother who passed away unexpectedly a month before Hudson was born.
In January, the model candidly opened up about the guilt she was feeling about adding a new member to the family and that she was concerned how he would handle sharing his mom. “I cry often because I’m sad that It won’t just be mama, Dada, and Hudson anymore. I cry because as much as I know that I’m giving my son the greatest gift he will ever have in life, I will be splitting my time and capacity, unlike before.” She went on to share that she is also excited for the two to share a special bond. “I cry because I see him practicing with his baby doll, feeding it, holding it, protecting it, and In my heart I know that he’s going to forever be the greatest big brother and fill that role in such a beautiful way. I cry because I know the love and adoration I have always had for my siblings and am excited for him to experience that.”
