Singer-songwriter Kali Uchis is a mom! The “Moonlight” singer and her partner, rapper Don Toliver, have announced the arrival of their first baby. “You are everything we could have hoped for & more.”
Kali and Don announced in January that they were growing their family. The couple welcomed a baby boy, but did not yet reveal his name or birth date. In their joint announcement on Instagram, Kali expressed her gratitude for her newborn and the support of her community. “Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy, & thank you all for the Good energy along the way. may our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health.”
This year, the “Igual Que Un Ángel” singer earned her first #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart for her album Orquídea. The singer took to Instagram to express her gratitude and also shared in the joy with her baby. “Our first #1 album🥹grateful for the constant growth, in every way🫶& for all of you & your well wishes, in a world full of people that seek to tear others down. if anyone’s proud I hope baby will be so proud of all we are accomplishing together while in my belly.”
Kali and Don’s relationship was first confirmed in 2021. The “No Idea” rapper shared the news in an interview with W Magazine promoting his album Life of a DON. Of their relationship, the rapper shared, “We’re not crazy public or nothing like that. We just vibe.”
