Actor Wilmer Valderrama is growing his family! The NCIS star and his partner Amanda Pacheco revealed they are expecting their second baby together. The couple joked that their daughter Nakano had been “manifesting” have a sibling.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the couple revealed that they will add their new bundle of joy to the family this summer but they haven’t learned their baby’s sex yet. They shared that their daughter Nakano Ocean, who was born in 2021, has been eager to become a big sister. “She’s been manifesting this for months before I found out I was even pregnant,” Amanda revealed. “We still don’t know the gender of the baby,” she continued, “but if it was up to her, she’d love to have a baby sister.” After Amanda took a pregnancy test, Nakano was the first one to learn the results. “She read it to Wilmer and I, and she has been shouting it from the mountaintops to every person who comes in her path: ‘I’m going to be a big sister!'”

The That 70’s Show star shared with the outlet how becoming a father has provided “a sense of purpose that is hard to describe.” He continued, “Like you could in fact lift a car if you had to. Personally, being a girl dad has been the most fulfilling feeling. As an artist, it has also fueled me to make sure she has so many stories in which she sees herself as the hero of her journey! All in all, I was born to be a dad!” On including Nakano in the pregnancy, the actor shared, “We want her to feel such a part of this moment so when the baby gets here she knows this is a moment for her too.”

Wilmer and Amanda started dating in 2019 and the A Sudden Case of Christmas star wasted no time in proposing, asking his now-fiance to marry him on New Year’s Day in 2020. Congratulations to the couple on the news of their second baby! We wish them all the best as they await their little one’s arrival.
