Actor Matthew Morrison, most notably known for portraying the role of Will Schuester on Glee, has announced the arrival of his second child with his wife Renee. The couple shared the news exclusively with People. Their second child arrived on June 28, at 12:08 PM, weighing 7 lbs., 1.5 oz., and measuring 21 inches long at birth.

The couple is the proud parents of a baby girl! They have chosen to name their daughter Phoenix Monroe Morrison. It appears that Phoenix will be the couple’s last child, as they told People that, “Our family is now complete.”

Matthew and Renee welcomed their first child, a son named Revel James Makai, three years ago. In March 2020, the couple opened up about suffering miscarriages as they tried to conceive their second child. The actor shared at the time, “It’s not fun stuff. But it has really opened us up to having the conversation and talking about things that are taboo or a little difficult to express. So I think it has really bonded us together a lot more.”

Matthew and Renee began dating in 2011. They tied the knot in October of 2014 in an intimate celebration with family and friends, a total of only 50 people in attendance, on a private estate in Kihei on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Congratulations to the Morrison family on their new addition! We wish them all the best as they embark on this exciting new journey as a family of four.
