Tom welcomed his first child with his partner, actress Zawe Ashton. US Weekly confirmed the arrival of the couple’s first child. The actors did not reveal the news on their social media pages. While Zawe is fairly active in sharing work-related content, Tom hasn’t posted to Instagram in nearly a year. A source close to the couple shared with US Weekly that “Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy. They have been having the struggles of new parents and aren’t sleeping much but are thrilled.” No details about the couple’s child are known, including their name or sex.
Tom and Zawe have kept details of their relationship private over the years. It is rumored that the couple began dating in 2019 after the pair starred in the Broadway play Betrayal together. The Avengers star and The Handmaid’s Tale star didn’t confirm their relationship until September 2021 when they made their debut on the red carpet for the Tony Awards. In March 2022, Zawe was photographed at the 2022 BAFTA Awards with a ring on her wedding finger. The couple’s engagement was confirmed just a few days later.
