Last week, actress Constance Wu was spotted in Los Angeles and the Fresh Off the Boat star appeared to have a baby bump. However, the news was not officially confirmed until now. Constance took to her Instagram Stories today to reveal that she is pregnant with her second child!
Constance posted an image on her Instagram Stories wearing a pink t-shirt and black pants. She had lifted the hem of her shirt to reveal her exposed baby bump. She added text to the image writing, “Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon.” Constance did not reveal when her second child with her boyfriend Ryan Kattner, the frontman for the band Man Man, would be welcoming their little one into the world.
The Crazy Rich Asians star welcomed her first child with Ryan in August 2020. The couple had a baby girl but have not revealed her name. Constance and Ryan actually kept their first child’s birth private for some time. They never announced they were expecting and only revealed she arrived 4 months after her birth. Keeping her personal life private is not out of the ordinary for the couple.
In May 2021, the actress did share a little bit about her daughter while on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I had a beautiful baby girl in August,” she shared. “She’s the best, she’s the best. She has a full head of hair. She has a blue butt.” Constance went on to explain that she had a “Mongolian spot.” A Mongolian spot is known as congenital melanocytosis, a flat blueish birthmark that appears at birth or in the first few weeks of life for some babies. “Apparently, it happens in a lot of Asian babies, and my boyfriend and I are both Asian,” she shared.
